SEPTEMBER SUMMARY

wow! it's been almost a month since the last post. it seems like so much has happened during this period. been busy with this and that but Twitter (too convenient) played a big role for not updating myself in Blogger.

have been basketball-ing again! :) For me it's always been a great joy to play basketball! Me and a few friends have joined a university basketball league (dodgy one) that has a game to play every week and so all of us (retirees) have to play more to get back our form. As a result we hung out more and built stronger bonds! GO SPIRITS!!! Let's get into the semi-finals and try to squeeze into the finals!!!

since the last post, it has been non-stop outings due to the arrivals of Siao Hao, Hilda, Mei Hoong and also the returns of Iris, Jasmine. With Siao Hao here, I've played basketball at a more regular basis because he's a basketball freak and he's like a 3-PT machine! We all went frenzy on a Friday or Saturday night with CRAZY karaoke session followed by Metro!!! Was really fun at clubbing!! But it ended with heavy rains and I realized that i lost my precious necklace during the karaoke all because of the ice game :(

Thanks to Siao Hao for treating me to the Friendship Games between Australia teams playing against China Teams and was able to witness the 7 feet 9, Sun Ming Ming in action before my eyes!!!

We also played some pool together (i owned him in that :P). Life like this reminds me of Brunei!! Miss those times when we all will just play basketball in the evening, then play pool at night, like almost everyday? Sounds boring, but good times they are when you have great buddies around!

then we had a 2-weeks break in our tournament due to the Graduation Ceremony! Congratulations to Amanda, Jasmine, Wan Wen, Nicholas, Delicia, Karen, Aye, Denise and Shierly. Too bad I wasn't able to meet all of them. Then there was also the Mid Autumn Festival which we celebrated next to the river, BBQ-ing at night followed by super-random-karaoke session.

gahhh!! i just came to realized how eventful the month of September was....and i got so lazy to list out all of them! so i'll just let the pictures do the talking from here on!!
